Las Vegas Get-away!

I know that Las Vegas is a get-away … some come for work, but mainly people come to PLAY! What I did not know or realize was the number of women that gather in this town just for fun days away. We have met some of the most amazing women – coming together to relax, shop, and spoil themselves. Some of them hired chefs to cook at the house and then NEVER LEAVE THE PREMISES! They just enjoy!

I am so excited to have discovered this — because we all do live such busy lives and, if you would believe the news today, we do not take the time to hang with friends! Time and time again, we have groups of powerful, elegant, exciting and loving women visit our house (with their friends, aunts, and even 90-year-old mothers) and they always report back that it was just what they needed and plan to return. Sharing our home means more to me now, because I know we are contributing to many different groups – the executives and hard workers, as well as the families who come to get away. But I am so surprised the know that there are A LOT of wonderful and crazy moms, wives, daughters, sisters and best friends who just need some special moments together! To all of them – we are glad our little piece of heaven can give you time together enjoying fun and peace!

( CBS NEWS) – Britney Spears has said her new album is a “personal” one, and it has a personal title (“Britney Jean,” her first and middle name), and the pop star is continuing that theme by penning a personal letter to her fans.

The handwritten note was posted on Spears’ website Friday. In it, she talks about putting the finishing touches on the record and thanked fans for the support they’ve given her.

“I have been through a lot in the past few years and it has really inspired me to dig deeper and write songs that I think everyone can relate to,” she wrote.

“Britney Jean,” Spears’ eighth studio album, will be released Dec. 3, the day after her 32nd birthday and the same month she’s due to begin her concert residency in Las Vegas.

Fremont Street Experience

I have still not quite made it to ZIP LINE here….

Ash and Alex on Tour - Travel Blog

Thursday 24th October.

Thursday was our last night in this crazy city, which was a shame as we have enjoyed it here so much.

We decided to go to the Fremont Street Experience downtown. Fremont Street was the original Las Vegas, the site bof the first casinos before the new ‘strip’ appeared and took most of its business away. It was completely different to the high-end newer casino area we’d seen on previous nights, very ‘worn around the edges’ but still heaving and lots of fun.

The street is fully pedestrianised and all sorts of weird and wonderful ‘acts’ can be found there, willing to have their picture taken with you for a tip. It is also a site for a lot of beggars holding signs to ‘please help me..I am a war veteran’ etc etc. Above the buildings, the street is almost completely covered by a giant curved LED…

Fun for the whole family in Las Vegas

We love to hear what families are discovering in our great city!

Benjamin Greene's Blog

Las Vegas has a lot more to offer than jus gambling, bars, strip clubs, etc. It has a lot of family activities to choose from.

Since our little boy Cyrus just loves big aggressive animals, we took him to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay to see some of his favorite animals. He found it kind of scary, but he was fascinated. He really liked the jellyfish. He was very afraid of the octopus.

Cyrus is stunned by all the lights at night. And even activities that we see as ho hum, like riding in an elevator or going to the grocery store, are wondrous if you have never experienced them before.
